FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Quick answers about how HireMe works for candidates, how verification works for employers, and what we will and won't do.
For Candidates
How HireMe works if you're job searching, what goes in your profile, and how employers reach out.
How is HireMe different from a job board?+
Job boards reward applying to as many roles as possible. HireMe rewards a clear, complete profile. Employers reach out to candidates whose skills, schedule, and goals actually match the role, so candidates spend less time re-typing the same information and more time in real conversations.
What goes into my HireMe profile?+
Your profile captures the basics employers want to confirm: education, work or volunteer experience, skills, location preferences, schedule availability, and a short intro. You can add a resume and a brief introduction video if you want, but they're not required to start.
Does HireMe guarantee I'll get hired?+
No platform can guarantee hiring outcomes — and we won't promise that. What HireMe does is help candidates present a clearer profile and help verified employers find better-fit candidates faster. Outcomes still depend on the role, the market, and the conversation.
For Employers
How verification works, how to find candidates, and what posting a role looks like.
Who can post jobs on HireMe?+
Employers go through a verification step before they can post roles or message candidates. We check that the company is real and that the account is connected to a legitimate hiring contact. This protects candidates from scam postings and keeps the quality of the marketplace high.
How do employers find candidates?+
Employers search and filter candidate profiles by skills, availability, location, and other relevant criteria. Strong matches surface first, and employers can message qualified candidates directly. There's no need to download a giant CSV of resumes — the relevant signal is already in the profile.
Profiles & Privacy
What employers see, what stays private, and how your data is handled.
Will employers see my contact info?+
Employers see your profile and can message you through HireMe. They don't see your email or phone number directly until you decide to share it, so you stay in control of who reaches you.
How does HireMe protect my data?+
HireMe uses HTTPS everywhere, follows least-privilege access for internal staff, and only shares profile data with employers you've allowed to see it. You can read more in our Privacy Policy and Candidate Terms (linked in the footer).
Getting Started
What HireMe is, what it costs, and where to learn more.
What is HireMe?+
HireMe is a hiring platform that flips the application loop. Candidates create one rich profile that captures their skills, experience, goals, and availability. Verified employers can then discover, evaluate, and message candidates directly — without making people send the same resume into hundreds of black-hole forms.
Is HireMe free?+
Yes. Creating a candidate profile is free. Creating an employer account and posting your first role is also free. Paid features for employer teams may be added later, but core discovery on both sides starts free.
Where do I learn more about job searching?+
The HireMe Career Blog covers fake job postings, entry-level hiring, trade jobs, warehouse and customer service roles, remote work, government jobs, and how to get noticed by real employers. It's a good place to start if you're trying to understand what's actually happening in today's hiring market.
